My husband and I used to stop in here alot when he was an over the road truck driver. I bought a Route 66 purse from Lucille ( still have it) I don't know when she stopped doing her newspaper but I own a couple issues where she would mention visitors I the next edition after their visit . She also had a hand in the Route 66 deal in Germany. She was a very interesting person and so knowledgeable. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing and thankful for the new owner and his tribute to Lucille. Lucille's Roadhouse in nearby Weatherford. When I dig out those newspapers I'll be sure to add those.

Pretty interesting place, people leave vinyl stickers on the window. Clean and appears well kept. Great photo opportunity and the plaque gives some history about the place. Looks like there is a small inn right outside but i didn't find anything labeling it or contact info.

Heads up! You don’t actually have to stop to see it lol. You can slow down as in (60mph) an drive by it. I was able to see it from the freeway.
