I have been here three times. The first two times it was very nice . Today was a different story . The Dr was very kind . However , I came from Greensboro looking for answers and received none. I understand this is a stressful time for everyone . I feel the Dr did the best she could for me just was unsure what else to do . However afterwards I was disturbed at the way I was treated . I told the charge nurse that I wasn’t helped she said Drs cleared me, follow up with your Dr and I was discharged. She was not very polite - probably a long day. After this, the security guard was very rude. I asked him if I could charge my phone and he said for a few minutes because of covd19 . He said i had to leave . I’m an asthmatic and i didn’t need to stand out in the cold. Finally the receptionist helped me and said I could wait for my ride in another room. The guard kept walking by asking when would my ride be there. I said it takes 20-25 minutes. I felt like I was being hounded . I’m 63 I don’t need that. I understand the drs position but everyone else could have been nicer. Some nice some rude. Covd19 has affected everyone. But overall I like the facility it’s very clean and usually everyone is nice- except this situation .

Very caring and attentive, doing many tests. Nurses were very kind explaining what was going on and the test and why. The doctor also was concerned wanting to Admit me to the hospital which I refused to go. He sent me home with a list of instructions and a medication Azithromycin. Plus Follow up scheduling two appointments one with Internal Medicine and the other a pulmonary disease specialist.

The overnight ER staff are just as uncaring and robotic as every other ER, so thank you for the consistency.

I have always had good experiences at this hospital in the past. The nurses and doctors have been absolutely wonderful. But last night’s experience was horrible. The staff was cold and clearly overwhelmed. I suffer from dysautonomia and often have low electrolyte issues. I arrived at the hospital vomiting profusely and extremely weak. It took over three hours to finally see a doctor to find out I had dangerously low sodium levels for my condition. I was told there was only one doctor on staff which is totally unacceptable. I waited hours to get anything for pain other than something for vomiting. When I finally asked for something for pain about three hours after I arrived, the nurse brought in Tylenol tablets to take, the last thing I wanted to put on my stomach after vomiting for several hours. I asked if I could be given something intravenously and they told me no. An hour later the doctor came in and asked if I was feeling better and I told him I couldn’t take the Tylenol. He said he could give me liquid Tylenol; why couldn’t the nurse have done this? They were totally understaffed and I understand they were probably doing their very best, but this is not how you treat patients. I understand that hospitals have had to lay off people due to elective procedures being canceled due to COVID-19. I just found the experience one of the poorest I’ve ever had. At one point it was over an hour and a half before a nurse came in to see me. I hope things can be improved for the sake of future patients.
