Chase Bank

Waited in line for 20 mins!! I guess they had no staff!! I was in a hurry and they could have never been slower!nTHEY SUCK!!

I deposited money into the atm and the whole atm shut down and rebooted itself. Money never went into my account so i talked to the bank they said i have to call the number on the atm and they couldnt do anything else. I called the number and ive been on hold for over an hour with no signs of someone answering. Wprst experience ive ever had with a bank.

In general I like Chase and never had any negative experience either on the phone or in person. I happened to drive by this location on Richland Ave and decided to stop by to pay a credit card bill. It was just little over $200 in cash for the credit card on my husband's name. A teller refused to take the payment because my name was not on the account. I was really puzzled because it was not the first time I was paying in cash for my husband's card. Normally I'm just asked to show my ID. I tried to talk to the manager, but he just cut me short and accused of money laundering!. Seriously. I was laundering $200. I have a checking account with chase and 4 credit cards. I never go back to this location. It was quite humiliating experience.

This is the WORST BANK IVE EVER BEEN WITH IM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT THIS WEEK. They lost one of my checks and it took 3 weeks to get it back after I had to pay a fee to get my check re sent cause one told me I wasn't getting it back and the other said I would waited waited waited waited nothing they didn't even reach out I had to call but he was always on lunch so I had to come up there just to get answers. Today wasn't any better.

Do not open an account at this bank and definitely don't expect to receive any funds related to a promo coupon. My husband has been a member of Chase Bank for over 10 years (I had always been at 5/3). After we were married, we decided to open a joint checking account and an individual checking account for me in December 2018 at the Chase Bank in Hikes Point, KY. The person helping us that day was Scott Spence. We presented an emailed coupon code for $300 for opening my new checking account. He told us the $300 would be deposited into my acct after my employer made the very first direct deposit into the acct. We were given zero impression that we would have any problems whatsoever. He told us if the $300 didn't show up in my acct or if we ran into any problems, then we could get back in touch with him. Fast forward a few weeks, and after multiple unanswered emails and several phone calls, I was told by two different branch managers they could not honor the $300 because we didn't open the right kind of checking acct which accompanied our $300 coupon (we opened a basic checking and the coupon was apparently for a premiere checking). Both branch managers looked into making an exception for me, because Scott Spence did not explain anything to us about this $300 coupon relating only to the premiere account. The branch manager at Hikes Point (Austin) told me he would try to push this through, and that if anything, they could warrant approval for a coupon for $150 should the $300 not get approved. Fast forward a few more days, and Austin tells me his supervisor would not approve any amount for us...despite being misled and uninformed by Scott Spence at our initial meeting...all because our $300 coupon was for a so-called premiere account. Austin also said that for the same reason, he could not approve the $150 and then had the audacity to say he has worked with Scott for years and finds it hard to believe he would make a mistake like this. So not only did Chase go against their word to honor BOTH coupons (or at least let us know in the beginning that our coupon wasn't valid), I was also made to feel like I was a dishonest person. Absolutely so unbelievable and unprofessional! I have never been treated so poorly in my life by a bank. This complaint is not about the money; it is about the principle of upholding best business practices and treating a customer with respect. Chase Bank, Hikes Point branch manager Austin, and Scott Spence, shame on all of you.
