Stopped here while spending a night in Vicksburg. My wife and I both had the blackened catfish with a wedge and side salad respectively. Both of our meals were outstanding in quality and presentation!! Our server was also very attentive. We shared a glorious piece of pecan pie to finish our meal! Only thing keeping us from giving it 5 stars was the price for an excellent meal in a dated ambiance. Certainly recommended if you are more interested in excellent food.
The food was great but the service was slow.
I ate here years ago while traveling for work and have been trying to find it again. Finally found it, and one day I will return to enjoy the food once again. This place had one of the best steaks and sides I've ever eaten, top 3 for sure.
My husband and I drive from, ms to eat here when we can! Absolutely best steaks you can’t get anywhere else and for a amazing price! Our baked potatoes were perfect with a ton of condiments for it and then WOW the dessert cheesecake!! It has to be on the best cheese cakes I’ve ever had. Not to mention they literally go over and beyond in their customer service! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner last time I went and he was such a joy to talk too! Definitely will be back as always
Best steak in Vicksburg! All types of steaks are available and they are cooked over flame with a great tasting baste cooked to order...for you steak connoisseur‘s, they really know what they are doing! The menu selection is wonderfully broad ranging from home cooking to seafood, and they have a Sunday brunch that is exceptional.nIn addition to the restaurant, The Beechwood has a great lounge with a good drink selection, and they historically bring in great bands!nOne of the top restaurants in Vicksburg!
