The nurses, physicians, housekeepers, all the staff, are wonderful caring individuals. This is a positive atmosphere for healing. The recliners for the patients give them comfort The lobby has puzzles to put together, coffee, and comfortable furniture with a television. There is a bell to ring once a patient is cancer free. Nice staff, caring nurses, nice waiting area, and healing environment.nPeople can help in different ways. There are people that donate books or magazines, sing to patients, help through different organizations like Relay for Life, build memorials to honor their loved ones and help other survivors and more. Everyone wants to help and while some individuals can donate funds, others can donate their time in some fashion. This hospital is able to give such a positive level of care to patients because of its excellent Physicians, nurses and other staff members but also because of individuals who choose to help also. We are all blessed to have this excellent Hospital and Cancer Center in our community. Thank you to all of you that make this a reality for the patients!

Dr. Gonzalez made a decision about my care before he even walked in the room or spoke to me. He was condescending, rude, and argumentative. He asked me twice did I even know why I was in his office? When I answered he told me I was wrong. (I wasn't) He refused to listen to a word I said and then told me aspirin has nothing to do with blood thinning it is only for pain relief and I could take as much aspirin as I wanted. Aspirin as a blood thinner is common knowledge.
