Holy sausage and cheese! I kid you not this chicago deep dish pizza is AMAZING! I've seen this place several times but never tried it. My wife and decided to give it a shot this trip. My wife is from Chicago and I have been there myself and had deep dish pizza in Chicago several times. As soon as we walked in this older gentleman sitting there eating asked us if we had ever eaten there before and we said no and he told us he was from Chicago and the pizza there was absolutely amazing. They only use the freshest ingredients and make their own crust and sausage in house. He said it was the best outside of Chicago. We were excited to try it! We got the meat lovers and they accidentally made a small instead of the medium we ordered but they made it right and were very nice and took great care of us. On our first bite our eyes about popped out of our heads! The seasoning is amazing and the sausage is to die for! Amazing crust as well. We both said it was probably the best pizza we've ever had. Seriously! You MUST try Mr G's!!! We can't wait to go back.

We got there too late for deep dish pizza but, the regular pizza was very good! We'll definitely go back again! The owner was very personable and the waitresses and staff were very nice. They didn't try to rush us out. I also recommend the cheese sticks and barbecue dipping sauce.

This is or was my go to for Chicago style Pizza. I grew up on Giordano's and Geno's both. Definitely this last visit fell short. The Chicago deep dish I ordered was very thin and did not match the standard I'm expecting from Mr Gs. I go there every 4 weeks. The flavor was there for sure but its obvious they are cutting back on thickness which is very disappointing and not deep dish at all. I hope this was a mistake and not the new norm.

So fun! Staff was nice and the atmosphere was easy to talk and relax in. Prices were very fair and a large pizza fed two of us with plenty to take home. The deep dish was very Chicago-like. Would recommend to friends visiting!

Excellent sandwiches, pizza is good too. Cozy atmosphere. Very close to public (free) parking. Not on the busy road. This isn't fast food. It's great to for gathering a few friends.
