The rooms were amazing. So clean and comfortable. The lady at the sweet shop was very nice. The view was beautiful! The only criticism I have was the front desk was not friendly and didn't make us feel wanted. We were asked name, how many keys, sign and initial here. That's it. We had to ask wheres the pool etc. They made me feel not good enough to stay here.

We first visited Chateau on the lake resort 8 years ago when my husband proposed to me. It was very romantic and special. The staff was involved in his whole plan. I chose to come back here for our honeymoon because it not only had such a great memory but the staff made it special as well. We have since made it a tradition to come celebrate our anniversary here every year. This year with the pandemic has made it a challenge just like all the other challenges of these trying times. But as always, the staff here at the Chateau came through. We wanted to get our coffee and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere only to find just about everything closed, like the coffee shop and restaurant. Jesse Boyd knew what customer first meant and came to our rescue to make our stay as much a success as possible. He not only unlocked the door to the coffee shop so we could get something to drink, he made us a latte!! He is an example of what an employee representing a company is all about. Thanks to Jesse our anniversary trip is a success! Thank you Jesse Boyd.

Where to start...nnFirst impression: Noticeable paint peeling on building. Not a good look.nnCheck-in time: 4pm. Rooms not ready until 5pm.nnRooms, like the rest of hotel, is VERY outdated. Sort of clean. NO in-room refrigerator.nnOnly 2 (out of 3) elevators working. Once we had to wait 10+ minutes.nnNO FOOD!!! Sorry... They had the restaurant open for dinner only. (Would be nice to have options other than a $32 Pork chop and a $43 steak.) We were told the vending machines were our best bet one evening. Ice machine not functional.nnOne thing to think about regarding food...You are minimum 15+ minutes from ANY Branson food options.nnSpa appointment massage for 72 yr. old grandmother. We were on time, but had to wait over an hour for a female masseuse.nnWe will not be staying here again.

Me and my Significant other stayed here for 2 days and it was very nice!! There was always someone standing by the doors to open them for you which I'm not big on the whole (open the door for the lady) thing but I really appreciated it and they were welcoming. Also the bartender was really nice and kept our drinking coming. The main reason why I wanted to stay there is because they always do their gingerbread house display during the holidays!! The room was super spacious and CLEAN. We also loved the balcony too! Definitely worth the stay!!
