I had an open myomectomy with Dr. DeRosa. Everyone from the first person I met in surgery center to the last nurse who pushed me out in a wheelchair was so so kind and took excellent care of me.nnI’d especially like to thank Marge and Michelle who were my nurses. They not only took excellent care of me but went the extra mile. Marge was careful to explain exactly how the night would go. Michelle made sure I was comfortable and explained so much when I came to the room. Liz had just come on her shift as I was being discharged, but she was personable and relatable in the brief time we talked.nnDr. Michael DeRosa is, as everyone knows, THE BEST! When you get Dr. D, you get excellent bedside manner, a doctor who listens, a precise surgeon with expertise, and a friend. He’s confident in what he does. He is truly my hero for helping us on this journey.nnThank you, St. Lukes! Your compassion and care was much appreciated.

I have had nothing but good experiences while in St. Luke' hospital. Doctors and nurses are respectful and attentive. I highly recommend.

Their financial department is a nightmare. I had a procrdure done in November 2019. I registered, gave them 2 insurance cards and my id. They pulled up an old record with my maiden name, didnt update my name, issue #1. Also, apparently onky copied 1 of the 2 insurance cards, even though i told the woman which was primary and which was secondary. Once i got a bill i called and said hey united health care shows u have not billed them (i called my insutance compqny once i got the bill), and i told them my last name was wrong on bill. St lukes said oh we must of sent it in to wrong primary. And they asked me to verify both insurances again, i did. They billed the secondary again 1st, it was denied because they kept telling them to bill primary. So now i get notices saying im respknsible. 6 times UHC has caled rhem and told them 1st ur out of 180 day window u have to appeal-they havent, 2nd u canmot bill the customer for ur mistake-they still are and 3rd now are getting nasty on the phone when i keep calling. I got told today im responsible, no tjats why i have insurance to cover this $2k bill. St. Lukes let the ball drop, refuses to do what insurance compqny keeps telling them to do, and just harrasses rhe customer to cover their mistake.
