Bank of America (with Drive-thru services)

I have been banking at this location for over two years. The last two or three times I have been to this location there’s only been one teller working (Dave, who is awesome and clearly works hard, stays calm under pressure) inside AND the outside lanes; and two other employees seated at desks, oblivious, one of whom is obviously the manager. The manager has this very frustrating habit of coming up and telling everyone in the lobby that someone will be with them shortly, and then proceeding to go back to doing whatever he is doing, content to watch a long line build up in the lobby and outside, while Dave shoulders it all. People drive away from the outside lanes, because after 15 minutes of not getting helped or even acknowledged, they leave! A woman today parked in the middle of one of the lanes and walked around because it took so long. I mean, talk about amateur hour! This is the middle of Clayton! It has been more than two months that this has been going on. Get a better manager who is willing to help get his teller through a rush.nnAnd by the way, the manager, when he came to “check” on all of us, questioned the only black woman in line about whether she had the proper paperwork and didn’t ask anyone else (white dudes) anything about their paperwork. Don’t think I’ll be back to this branch.

I have never been to such an unprofessional bank before. This place is crazy ! How do you pick your managers an bankers ? A lottery ? I thought this place would stand to a higher standard but this is just pitiful.

Briana the Relationship Manager went above and beyond to provide great service. Dave is my go to guy for money needs. He always make sure I helped expediently.

I stopped in this branch to cash a check at 9:30 am. There were only 8 parking spaces on the lot and all 8 were filled. I had to park across the street on Forsyth because all the street parking spaces in front of the building were for compact cars only and I drive an SUV. Plus there was a Clayton cop parked on the street. And I didn’t want a ticket. When I got into the lobby there were only 2 customers inside (I don’t know who was parked in those other 5 spaces. There was a greeter when I walked in asking me what was my reason for stopping by and I told her I just wanted to cash a check. She told me the guy teller would help me. When I stepped up to his window he told my he was busy (counting money) and that the teller on the other end would help me AS SOON AS SH GIT HER DRAWER SET UP!! What the heck? The lobby had already been open for 30 min. Why weren’t they ready for walk-in customers. There were 3 cars parked in the drive-thru and no one seemed to be helping any of them either. After standing there for 10 min. a lady finally came from behind a closed door. She helped the customer that got there before me then asked what she could do for me. I told her I only needed to cash a check so she started my transaction. THEN she turned around and started helping someone at the drive thru. With 3 tellers you would think that it wouldn’t take a customer 18 min to cash a check. ??

The older man, who I believe is the manager, is just awful. He doesn’t listen at all and then he gives you wrong information. Then he becomes irate when you say that you want to just talk to one of the customer service people. He’s horrible!
