Food was good but service was extremely slow and the restaurant was empty
Food is so so.. service is okay..
Really disappointed. We went for chicken wings and got a few in the appetizer with Helen's famous sauce. Evidently they changed the recipe and it was way to hot for my taste. Since we ordered wings for the entree I switched sauces and asked for well done wings. They were served raw. Slightly crisp on the outside but biting in it was bloody and raw at the center. Lost my appetite at that point. They took them off the bill and apologized but I no longer am inclined to crave their wings.
Wonderful, extensive menu. I had the Reuben. It was delicious! The Corned Beef is baked and hand-cut on site. We had a side of onion rings, I am guessing they were hand-breaded on site, as well. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. Attentive wait staff.
Great food and great drink specials. One of my all time favorite places to go in St. Louis County. Have been enjoying it for many many years.
