Commerce Bank is absolutely the worst bank that I have ever been with. You can’t get a person on the phone, you can leave a message, but nobody will call you back. I had to go through the drive through in order to make an appointment for the lobby. Once I did make an appointment, I didn’t even get a face to face with a banker. I sat in my truck in the parking lot because of ‘COVID-19’ restrictions and a banker called me. After I brought to the bankers attention that I had 9 insufficient funds fees wrongly taken out, she offered to refund one of them as a ‘courtesy’. After I talked with another banker, he finally saw the discrepancy and said that it was the banks fault. He refunded me the over $300 that I was owed, and I immediately closed my account. Stay away from commerce bank.

Sure they have alright service, but honestly I will never recommend this bank to anyone not even my worse enemy... The worse bank I have ever used!!

Austin is great! He always gives the best customer service, he is ready to listen and help you in anyway he can. He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better person to do business with.

I used to have wonderful service with the commerce bank in any branch except for the one in Bolivar MO. They have very POOR customer service. I have had my account with Commerce for 28 years and because of the Bolivar branch I am closing my account this week and will be going with another bank. But the other branches are outstanding compared to the Bolivar branch.

My wife and I have been Commerce customers for many years, and recently applied for an ARM at our local branch in Bolivar. The service we received throughout the application process was outstanding! Everyone from Commerce that we dealt with was extremely helpful, especially Tiffany Baumann at the Springfield branch on N. Kansas Expressway. Tiffany was even available to help with loan documentation questions outside normal business hours. We needed to get the loan approved quickly because we were closing on our new house in a few weeks, and Tiffany made that happen. The ability to upload, review and sign documents online was very helpful and really sped up the process. We got great customer service from Commerce Bank!
