What a hidden treasure this place is! Experienced their superior customer service from the moment I stepped up to their order window to when we got our order from the pick up window. We ate our sandwiches in the car and were immediately drawn in to how fresh and flavorful the meat tasted with the sauce and coleslaw that graced the bun. YUM! After demolishing our sandwiches like Fred Flintstone eats a Brontosaurus burger, we had a 25 minutes ride home. The aroma floating around in the car from the ribs and chicken we bought for later wouldn't let us wait until we got home. My husband tasted a piece of chicken first and it was pretty obvious he was WOW'd by its taste. He then tried a piece of rib and boy did he make it even more tempting to try. He gave me a piece, no sauce, just a chunk of rib meat that seemed to melt in my mouth. Naturally I had to chew it and with each chew I wanted to savor the flavor forever. I didn't want it to go away. The ONLY disappointment is... they are only open on the weekend! That's it! You MUST try T&J Barbeque Pit. You won't make it out of the parking lot before you are lured in to taste their ribs and chicken.

Had a taste for BBQ today and ordered 1/2 slab, whole chicken and a few sides. Everything was excellent from the freshness, taste, value and customer service! I asked to taste the potato salad and decided to get it .. well they accidentally forgot it. I contacted the owner and he was extremely apologetic and assured me he would make it right upon my return! I will be going back tomorrow! Not just for that .. Flavor is good. Pork chops were dry, but the chicken and ribs were good. Wings even better. Family enjoyed the baked beans. However, the mac and cheese was very bland.

Great food as always, used to eat all the time when I worked in la plata, now every chance I get over there I stop

Excellent staff and truly friendly. Food is always spectacular at a great price. I highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing barbeque.
