I admire this place a lot. there is a romantic ambiance. The cuisine is wonderful. the service is efficient and the team is professional. The cost is reasonable. I definitely recommend.

Very pleasant employees, owner is very involved.. Cook is excellent atmosphere is very nice and cozy. Very highly recommend you will enjoy yourself people are nice no crazies.

I love having oysters Rockefeller, crabcake and many of the daily specials. Service is fairly prompt and friendly, this is chef prepared cuisine so you don't want it fast... Enjoy a cocktail or 2 and a delicious appetiser and your food should be on its way!

not to friendly at all.. they were more concerned on who I was with lots of tattoos instead of a normal customer.. one employee walked from the back up front where I was sitting waiting for my take out just to have a better look at me, but acted as if were doing something else then walked back.. that was a little strange and rude as far as I'm concerned and what was his reason. I will say the pizza is good but pricey for a large which is the size of a medium.

I went to Blue Dog with 3 other family members. It was a Saturday about 5 in the evening. The place was not crowded at all. We had stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. They were excellent. We ordered drinks. This consisted of 2 teas and 2 beers. The teas arrived fairly quickly the beers took much longer. They had to be delivered by another wait staff. I'm guessing the waiter was underage. For our entree 2 of us ordered the prime rib blackened and 2 of us ordered the crab cake. The food came fairly quickly. The crab cakes were excellent. The prime rib was ok. It was a bit tough. The waiter was never around. We had to go up to the bar area twice to let them know we needed things. First was more sweetener for the teas. We had asked the waiter for this but he never brought it to the table. The second time was for another round of beers. Now typically I wouldn't mind waiting but we had been empty for 15-20 minutes and we hadn't seen the waiter for that much time or longer. Also the restaurant was not crowded so it wasn't because he was busy. The bill amount came to just over $200. I have to include that we did order a to go order also. Now a $200 meal plus gratuity deserves much better service than we received. That's the reason for 3 stars.
