Grille No.13

We love coming to Grille 13! We always share the pretzel bites with bacon cheese which are super yummy. Our favorite item on the menu is the Reuben which is always great and never disappointing! Their chicken sandwich is very good too. The servers are always very nice and things never take too long. The only thing I wish is that they had more salad/soup options and less fried appetizer choices. Other than that we love coming here for dinner and there is hardly ever a wait even on a Friday night!

We aren't usually in the area but stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. It was pretty quiet and social distancing was no problem. Our waitress was friendly and handled the orders for us, the other table in our area, and a pickup order without issues. She anticipated our needs for straws, napkins, etc before we thought to ask.nThe food was very good. We tried the Guinness burger, fish and chips, and chicken sandwich on toast and enjoyed it all. The Guinness gravy didn't necessarily taste strongly of Guinness but was delicious in its own right. The chicken was a standout—unexpectedly good for a small pub. And everything fried was noticeably fresh-fried and tasty. Especially the perfect fries!nThe drinks were also very good. We got a Bloody Mary off-menu and it was tasty and extremely well-priced. And all the menu drinks sounded great—if I hadn't been driving I'dve been very tempted!nAll in all a well-priced and tasty dining experience, and one that felt very safe COVIDwise.

Can’t rate the food because I haven’t been given the opportunity to eat there. But the Service is basically trash in the simplest sense of the word.nnThe first time attempting to go, the got a pass based on the fact it was St. Patty’s day and it’s an Irish bar.. even though we got there around 6:45pm for a party of 2 and were quoted an hour wait... after about 2 hours and no word from the establishment, I called to asked for an update and was told the kitchen was behind an hour so it would be an additional hour before we were seated.. Aggravated at this point I still said OK.. needless to say we NEVER got a call back or a response from the restaurant during this event.. but.... I gave them a pass.nnFast forward to tonight.. I called the restaurant at 8:39pm exactly (I have the call log to prove it). Asked what time the kitchen closed and was told specifically “either 10 or 11pm”... arrived around 9:20pm.. not too long after I called and of course was told the kitchen was closed but we could drink at the bar smh.. when I asked to speak to the manager about this all she stated was “I’m sorry. I remember your phone call asking when the kitchen closes but I guess it was a miscommunication between me and my servers.. I’ll work on that.” No other consolation. Obviously she didn’t care and the establishment as a whole doesn’t care as well this has been a repeat experience. Again can’t speak on the food but don’t expect any decent customer service from this establishment considering the numerous other establishments in the area.

Stopped at Grille No. 13 for lunch today. Tasty Reuben sandwich. Friendly staff as well. Will remember when I am in the area again!
