Hickory Small Animal Hospital

We have been using Hickory Vet clinic since we bought our new family member, so for roughly 3 years. I would say that for an absolute overall review 4 stars is right on. I believe that for the most part you will have a great experience and that they will take very good care of your furry family member. I plan to continue going to them for many years. The boarding part is a great price and my dog always comes back just as healthy and happy as when I dropped him off. The vet prices seem to be comparable to the going rates and fair.nnThe vets have ALWAYS been super informed, super nice and very willing to discuss anything you want to. I feel very taken care of when the vet comes in and out.nnThe only constructive criticism I would give is that I feel that the staff (assistants) need to be a little more informed on the animal that is visiting them at hand and what is actually going on before calling or coming and getting your animal (pay attention if the animal is a male or female don't just assume), be a little more concerned with the owners that are in the room with you at the time and that the techs be a little bit more friendly when the client is talking about or wanting to talk about their animal family member. **There are a few that have been just as client friendly as the vet, but most have not.nn***All in all this animal clinic is a very well rounded all inclusive vet and I would recommend them to anybody.***

We brought Apollo and Bandit in for a teeth cleaning and they had to have a couple of extractions. Doctor Gee is the best vet around! Doctor Gee and the staff are very professional and took great care with them. She checked on them afterwards to make sure they were doing okay when we got home. Professional, caring and friendly! Wouldn’t trust our two with anyone else!

Most wonderful staff ever! Veterinarian was very informative and helped us out a bunch with our baby Rottweiler puppy! It's been a long while since we've had a puppy so his advice was much needed and reassuring! Thanks so much Hickory!!ud83eudd70ud83eudd70

Very personable, kind and caring staff. The vet personally called to give me the results of my pet's blood work. My pet had surgery and i knew she was in good hands!

Being a busy as they were, they still took my baby in and took great care of him! They called atleast 3 times the few hours they had him to keep me updated! Absolutely wonderful place who actually care about your fur babies!
