The nurses here at Kindred are absolutely determined to give you the absolute best care. Everyone is very friendly. They go out of their way to help you and actually take the time to get to know you personally. The food is better than any other hospital I have ever been at. I highly recommend anyone that needs long term hospital care to come to Kindred Louisville for medical and rehab treatment. Ms. Pat from Lab was super gentle and kind. I am hard to stick normally but she could get me easily each morning and extremely fast! To be honest I really appreciate the staff completely because they never judged me and always encouraged me.

Kindred Hospital Louisville has been the pentacle of compassion and professionalism which contributed to my recovery from pneumonia, COPD and fluid on the lungs. I had been on the ventilator at Frankfort Medical Center (Thank you also for the wonderful care). Kindred gave me the little extra time I needed before going home. The staff here are so caring and go beyond job requirements. My room was kept clean, the meals healthy and tasted good too! You are not just a patient here, you are a fellow human being and are treated as such! I can't say enough about the staff here! I stayed at Kindred for probably 2 weeks! Within that time I was treated with the upmost care an respect! Now I’m not going to say there are things that I didn’t appreciate or like , but it’s definitely something I can deal with!!!! The nurses and aides were all very good at what they do an treat you very well. Rehab got me back on my feet walking again.

My time at Kindred has given me a headstart on having a positive life after I leave. The staff are so nice and positive. The best experience ever that I have had of being in a hospital. Dr. Desai is awesome! I will recommend Kindred to everyone I know. They answer the call lights quickly and they have the best hospital food. Rooms are clean and the halls are quiet at night. Kindred Hospital is a very good place. They all work together to get you where you need to be healthy and stronger. They have really good people that work there and they encourage you to stay positive and work with your Rehab to get stronger. Rehab works you out good and they put a lot of effort into getter you better. Without Kindred and all of the encouragement I would not have gotten better. Thank you Kindred, doctors, nurses, Rehab, Respiratory , housekeeping and everyone else that makes this a great hospital, because of you I will be strong enough to get home.
