I work here and it's great!
The Doctor’s, Nurses, Volunteers and Staff Employees are awesome with their service to patients. They serve with 110% plus quality.nnMy stay has let me rest and recover knowing I’m being cared for by the BEST!nnThank You IMC NORTH!nA appreciative patient.

I am giving one star but want to give no stars.nI heard a sermon Sunday about not defending yourself letting God defend you. I am not sure if this stands with how I was treated at the hospital last night/early morning?nDo I keep quiet or do I defend myself for others that deal with the same miss treatment?nI strongly want to make it aware that new Iberia medical center treats patients as though they are not telling the truth about what is going on with them! I had not slept for 50 hours due to the pain in my jaw when I came in to the er. I took pain medication that did nothing. The only thing that worked was keeping cool water on that side in my mouth. I asked them to just numb the area so I could sleep before I could be seen by a dentist because I did not want pain medication that did not help. I could not sleep holding cool water in my mouth duh!nSo they stuck me in an extra waiting room by myself. No one came and talked to me and when I asked for the lidocaine they told me no and if I wanted to go home that was fine with them. They did this because they assumed I was faking crying and the inability to keep still due to excruciating pain because I had seen them earlier. Who knows what they were thinking?nEarlier that day they pretended to check my white blood cell count and sent me home with stuff that was not working.nWhen I went earlier that day with Alex Jehnee Mize Lmt when they asked if I had surgerys in the past, I told the male nurse I had reconstructive surgery due to being hit in the face with a candle,he snickered and said “well that had to be a big candle.” (How rude) I told him, yeah, it was a big candle. The guy that hit me with the candle did it out of rage because I was leaving him when I was 19 years old because he was very abusive. He crushed the left cheak bone and I had to have a plate put there. Now I no longer have a sinus cavity on that side, and my nerves are messed up on that side that side of my face. I was afraid I might have a infection and that was why I was having so much pain and came in there. He got embarrassed and said”man I am sorry that happened”, but then turned his chair to have his back towards me.nFrom that point I complained about him and they did whatever they could to get me out of there quickly.nThis is why I do natural medicine at home. I have learned to treat my children with natural medicine because Doctors and Nurses are only in this field these days for the pay. They guess, instead of really checking the problem and give everyone antibiotics that make them sicker even if an infection is not present. If my kids are sick I treat them with things to boost their immune system and then take them in for the mandatory doctors note for school. I would have treated myself rather than go to the er but the pain would not stop even with strong pain pills.nMore people need to speak up about the mistreatment of this facility so something can be done about it.
