I wanted to respond to the manager. I feel like your response didn’t address your employees professionalism which is more important than the price of anything. She was really rude to me as I mentioned but you didn’t address that.nnFrom the prior reviews it seems as if this is a reoccurring theme at this store. Also I’m still confused where you are getting your prices that I was quoted because I was told in the store they were based off of EBay’s prices & shipping is included in that factor which made no sense.nI literally went on eBay & saw the same cameras for a fraction of what you were offering me. Once again I wanted to place emphasis on the “condition” of the cameras that you guys were selling in relation to your “online price reference.”nnThe condition of them didn’t justify the price & me questioning that led to an unprofessional response from your team which wasn’t right.nnI understand your mission to sell items for a competitive price but they aren’t locally competitive prices.nnI hope that if you can understand where I’m coming from & I hope you can convey to your employees that they also represent Hospice & the core values of Hospice weren’t displayed during my time in your store.

I have been shopping at this thrift shop for years. I have always loved it but recently I have stopped going here because they’ve raised the prices to the point it’s ridiculous. I used to come and buy dresses and they were from $10-$20 which i think is reasonable. But last time I went I saw a dress that had a minor rip for $88?! That’s ridiculous for used clothes no matter how “vintage” it is. They receive these used clothes for free and sell them like they’re new. Anything that’s remotely cute is over $30. I will still go once in a while to see if there’s anything worthwhile. But they’ve definitely lost me as a loyal customer.

I can’t say enough good things about Hospice Savannah Thrift Shop! Not only are their prices amazing (as always) but the quality of their items just keeps getting better and better! They do not disappoint! I love how Hospice Savannah Thrift Shop is so involved in community events and allows such a wide range of volunteers. Their owner makes an effort to speak to me personally every time I go in, she remembers my name and occasionally has some special pieces held aside for me, because she knows exactly what I like - talk about special treatment! This store is a true gem, I could spend hours in here wandering around or chatting. Thank you Hospice Savannah for creating such a fantastic little gem in our own backyard ❤ufe0f

I am a local photographer who primarily takes photos with film cameras as a hobby.nnOver the weekend 01/16/21 I visited the Pooler thrift shop & didn’t have the best experience. I feel as if I wasn’t met with the best possible service and the employee I dealt with was not professional.nnI was interested in purchasing film two cameras that were still there since my last visit back in August 2020. I know the date because I took a photo of them as a reference since I visit so many thrift stores in the Low Country.nnThe price I was quoted for both were extremely high so I asked if they could work with me since they were still unsold after five months since my last visit.nI also wasn’t sure if the cameras worked so that price was a huge gamble based off the no return policy sign at the counter.nnThe employee, a woman with glasses quoted me a price of 30 each per camera & then said she could sell them as a package deal for 50 dollars.nnI told her that I felt as if the price was too high due to the condition of them.nnI purchase a lot of film cameras around town & told her that other thrift stores sell them for relatively cheaper.nI showed her the similar film cameras I purchased just the weekend before while thrifting as a reference along with the price stickers on them.nnI asked her what their store pricing was based off of so she called someone on the phone in front of me who she said “controls the prices in the store. “nnShe told me the camera prices were based off eBays sale & shipping which didn’t make since to me. She also couldn't' tell me anything about the cameras to justify the price points.nnI asked her why would the local store price included an internet shipping price & she simply said that’s their policy and she wouldn’t “haggle with me over a dollar.”nnThe other gentleman who works there was present to verify that she said this. Also if you have surveillance that picks up audio, that will also verify what she said. At no point was I rude to them which could also be verified by the gentleman.nnI honestly just wanted to reach out to leadership & inform you that my experience left me feeling like my business wasn’t valued. I feel as if they were trying to quote me the highest prices they could which isn’t right.nnI went on eBay & checked prices after I left the store. What I was quoted doesn’t make since. Ebay currently has those same two cameras for less than twenty dollars each. One for 9.99 and the other for 19.99.nnBased off of my experience I will definitely be avoiding this store.

Wonderful, clean, neat, personal and helpful staff. Always changing, with new merchandise.
