Big banks theses days are horrible. All automated , no human touch, waiting for long time to talk by the phone, etc. But sometimes we find exceptional people like Emiliana Esquivel ( personal banker ) at HSBC Miami Beach branch. A real professional, willing to go the extra mile to do her job well !nKudos !! to her !
I've been going to this branch for years. It's always a pleasant experience. There is never a long line and the staff are very professional, courteous, and helpful. Carmen helped me the last time I was there. She is so nice!
After having spent more than one hour on the phone with the operator I was told to go to the branch to request the closure of my account since it required a deposit. The bank staff was completely unable to solve the matter and they were more interested in picking up and leaving than in solving the matter. Managers included. Rude staff. unservicial with no idea to the questions I asked. I don't ever want to open an account with HSBC. The experience has been nightmarish
