My first ever surgery was yesterday 2.10.21. Everyone starting with registration all the way to discharge were fabulous. I was extremely nervous, thank God our hospital understands how much a support person is and my husband was able to come with me. I was in room 387 and I want all of the nurses. Techs, ect.. how much we appreciated everything you guys did. Thank you.

If I could give this hospital no stars I would. We literally have been sitting here now since 630 with chest pains and having issues breathing. But apparently that isn't a emergency. This hospital is a joke. It's now 10:06. Yes I'm writing this as we sit here. They have taken everyone besides him.nnIts now 12:06 we got into a room at 11:15 and haven't sent anyone yet. This hospital needs to learn how to take care of patients.nnAfter spending 8 hours in this hospital we got told everything looks fine you can leave check in with your heart doctor. 8 freaking hours just to be told he could leave. They said well this is a trauma hospital so we take those first. I'm excuse me. A person with shortness of breath and chest pains is a trauma. And again I wrote this tonight while we were in the hospital waiting to be seen. This is completely ridiculous. Get it together people do better. -100 stars.

Where do I even start. Husband needs surgery. Love the Dr but ALL of the Baptist facilities need to get it together. Every dept we are told to call for different info, we are given 2 - 3 different answers at the same office but with every department we have to call. He laid in recovery and with this virus only 1 person allowed to go in, we're told for over 2 hours they are waiting for his room to be cleaned. I overhear them say that his room had been cleaned a long time ago. His blood pressure was continually going up but after 2 hrs a nurse (not his assigned nurse) came in and gave him something to try and bring it down. All they would do is turn the beeping noise off instead of addressing the issue. I'm not even going to talk about how I sat and heard the staff talking to an elderly lady that couldn't even remember where she was at. I'm fed up with the way things went throughout this entire process.

I am sure your visit depends on when you go and what service you are seeking but I would recommend other local hospitals. This location is old and it shows in all aspects, it has more security than any other hospital I've been too which sounds nice but is disturbing when you realize they need that much, half the staff I've interacted with were awesome, the other half totally incompetent.

This is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. The ER waiting room was filthy and disgusting with random stains and sticky spots on the floor, trash in the corners, no attempt to distance the seating in the waiting area. With COVID, the seating should be spaced out better. There were no types of disinfectant wipes anywhere to wipe down the chairs and seats from the previous people who sat in them and no sign of anyone from the hospital taking extra measures to ensure the lobby was clean and disinfected. Absolutely disgusting conditions. It looks like they hold people longer than needed in disgusting conditions to try to make people sicker hoping they'll come back to make more money off of.
