I started a new hobby and bought a self starter fish tank kit with help from one of the employees. She turned out be be very knowledgeable about fish and everything I need to do. Some fish died and they were happy to refund my money. I found out I had a problem with the nitrate in mg water, which isn't to uncommon with new fish tanks. She walked me through the steps to fix. I highly recommend petco for your fish needs, especially with the knowledgeable staff and friendly return policy for your fresh water fish if they die
It was a pleasant experiences. People were social distancing. The place was nice and clean. I came in to find a particular Rx good for my pets. They did not carry the one I wanted but found one similar and just bought a few days to see if my dogs would like it.nStaff was nice, everyone was wearing a mask.
The cashier was very sweet to me and my dog. She made me feel Petco cares about its customers and their pets. Thank you very much!
Staff are always helpful and friendly. I don't like that I'm not allowed to browse sections when they closed off of caution tape for some kind of event. I wish there was more of an aquatic plant variety. Large variety for fish/turtles/birds from what I see, a lot of stuff for cats and dogs but I don't visit for the latter right now.
The item I ordered for pickup was out of stock in the store. The associate helped my son find a good replacement, ensured we got the online price for the item, and processed the refund immediately. The staff at our Petco are amazing, knowledgeable, and always go out of their way to help us care for our pets!
