Like all Bon Secours facilities they don’t have anyone in administration to speak to after 6 pm. They also don’t have a method to contact an administrator after 6pm. Fortunately, my issue wasn’t necessarily with Memorial Regional and was more with Watkins Center. The Dr and nurse were excellent considering the place seemed full of patients. They helped address the issue quickly and dial in on the problem thankfully. However, it took 4 hours to get to the necessary result which was at 2am. My partner then needed to stay for another 4 hours so I went home to rest. I was called to come get her at 6 but they wouldn’t discharge until 7. Be ready to wait, and nothing happens fast.

The nurses and doctors were great except for the ER doctor. He scared my husband to death by telling him the wrong diagnosis without waiting for test results. Other doctors and nurses were great

Worst hospital ever has been this way since it opened in Mechanicsville. When you have a parent who it is listed on there chart for doctors to call you they don't. Doctors have called for 1st time in 4 days today. Thise were the specialists. Visiting hours changed to 6 pm no where on website is this stated says main entrance is open til 9. So if you work can't visit your patient leading to further depression of the patient. Always a challenge to get in understand with Covid there have to be restrictions but these are ridiculous. Go somewhere else in Richmond. I work in several hospitals in Richmond and never have the headaches of getting in them like Memorial regional. Can't rate it with negative stars or that would be the best.

With the Covid visitation restrictions, I have to rely on phone conversations for updates to my mother’s care planning. Doctor has only called once to discuss plans and hasn’t called back when he says he will. When I call to get updates or discuss something I see in the portal, the phone just rings at the nurse station until I get disconnected (multiple times). I’ve requested multiple time to have her Advance Directives updated on her encounter, but it hasn’t been done. Very disappointed.

Never go there.My mom was sent there. She was having a hard time breathing normal while walking far distances. So shes on oxygen. They literally left her in the bed FOR 3 DAYS did not help her up or anything. Pretty much neglected her. Its been a whole month since she's been home and still trying to get back to normal. She was better off before she went in there
