Place is dusty and looks dated. Look at the car on the second floor. Covered with dust and finger streaks. Tables and floors worn and sticky. The TVs were old and dim and unwatchable. There’s a lot of memorabilia hanging from the ceiling. It all looks old dusty and in need of a do-over. Walking downstairs after dinner there were storage boxes and loose Xmas decorations on the landing across from the stairs. This place has the vibe of a place with bad management. Try looking at your restaurant as if you’re a first time customer like me. Pretty unimpressive.nFood was pretty good. Beer was cold. Service friendly and nice. Place needs a new manager and a refresh.

UPDATE 1/11/21 — The Manager at Macado’s called first thing this morning to apologize for how things went down with our order yesterday, was super nice and asked for the chance to make things right today. At first I was hesitant, but thought it only fair to allow him the opportunity. Today all three of us were provided lunch on him and this time our Bobagger sandwiches where delicious, the steak was tender and there were plenty of mushrooms and onions. My husband had the Tippecanoe Club and he says that will be his “go to” sandwich from now on. I have to say I wasn’t expecting to hear from anyone today, but I can’t say enough how nice the Manager was and you could tell he honestly wanted to make things right. 5 stars for him and Macado’s today!n_______________________nUPDATE: 1/10/21–Took a chance on Macado’s again and that was a mistake. My tacos had green peppers all over them even though the menu didn’t say anything about green peppers on the tacos. I am highly allergic and when I called to ask why there were peppers on my taco all I got was an “I’m sorry”...no offer to remake the tacos or a refund or anything. Usual terrible customer service. I will probably have to order again for my husband, but my meal will come from a different nearby restaurant.n________________nJust got our to go order from Macado‘s and was very surprised by our food. Not only did they leave off part of the order that we paid extra for, but both sandwiches were not made as usual. The meat was tough and instead of looking like sliced beef it look like and had the consistency of a hamburger patty. Asked for extra mayo and onions on one sandwich but both sandwiches had hardly any mayo on them. Called to ask for help with the problem and the person who answered the phone told me she didn’t have time to figure out the order and would have to “call me back”. Because I have worked customer service before it was appalling to me that the person on the phone didn’t have “time” so I just told her to forget it and hung up. Just spent $25+ dollars for poor food and poor service and it will be a long time before I will get anything to go from there again. Wish there had been a “Zero” stars option!

There is a great assortment of items on the menu. Placed an order online for pick up while in town for a getaway. I called to check in when I arrived at the location and spoke with a sweet girl who brought my order out quickly. I tried the Spicy Thai bone-in wings and the Boomer Burger (medium well) with sweet potato fries. The wings were so flavorful and cooked just hard enough. The burger was cooked perfectly and delicious. The sweet potato fries were actually cold which surprised me because I was only a few minutes away and arrived at the time they stated the order was ready but that was nothing that the microwave could fix. They were yummy. Great experience. Definitely worth it.

Love the vibe of this resturant. Huge variety of food and affordable. To-go or dine-in both is good. We went there for dine-in on busy night so some of the items my friend ordered were out but it was a good experience over all. Love their chicken fingers. Chicken blt and chicken Alfredo were up to the mark. I’ll keep ordering to-go and definitely visit for dine in again too.
