Worst service known to man, it’s almost as if the patients don’t have insurance. Appointments are impossible to get in a reasonable time frame. Terrible customer service. Terrible attitudes. If the doctor doesn’t want to help you they’ll tell you just to go to emergency care even when you’re there for the appointment. No one takes mental health or women’s health seriously. No one takes anyone who isn’t active duty seriously. Do not recommend for anyone, I would give it 0 stars if possible. I’ve been a member for 10+ years and it hasn’t changed, I stand by my rating.

Pharmacy Service has deteriorated greatly. Often they can't find scripts sent to them. They confuse just about anything and everything. Language problems such as heavy accents make hearing and understanding very difficult, especially for older customers. Way understaffed; wait time are EXCESSIVE. Now, The WORST:nLast night Fairfax hospital sent in script (for blood thinner to begin taking it immediately) to Fairfax Health Center Pharmacy for my wife, who was just being released after having a stroke and catheterization. I go to the pharmacy at 0730 this morning (Veterans's Day), and the pharmacy is CLOSED. I called the Fairfax hospital; luckily they answered, and I asked them to call in the script to a civilian drug store. They did, and I picked up the script for $175, and got the first dose to my wife just 2 hours late this morning.nnTHANKS ARMY (from a 35-year veteran) for being CLOSED on Veteran's Day. What a disgrace!

As of 2021 I’ve been using them for 18 years, they are always friendly, responsive, are very focused on preventative medicine including diet counseling, yearly exams, and testing. It’s occasionally hard to get an appointment, and the pharmacy does get used a lot (no cost) so timing your visit is important, but I’ve received excellent care there for nearly two decades and plan on continuing to use them. In m opinion they are top notch!

I’ve had a horrible experience with them. My doctor is incompetent and really should not be in practice. She questioned my antibiotic allergy because I couldn’t recall being given epi when I was a teenager. It was anaphylaxis. She also told me to go to the ER for heartburn without considering the other symptoms and my excellent cardiac history. Every time I spoke with her she seemed annoyed with me and always forgot who I was. She’d tell me one thing, do another, and then forget what we had spoke about when I brought it up. Do yourself a favor and choose a civilian provider.

The secret to good service is a smile and an understanding that you’re not the only person there with needs that have to be met. This pharmacy lost 11 employees at the start of the pandemic, which along with the pandemic has created delays, so be prepared to wait.nI had to resolve a problem with one medication and activate a refill. The petite pharmacy tech with long braids greeted me warmly and tended to my needs in a safe manner. She seemed surprised by my friendliness, which spoke volumes to me about how low morale is behind the plexiglass. I arrived right after they opened and had to wait in a sparsely occupied waiting area for almost an hour. Thanks to all who worked to make my 5 star visit run smoothly!
