Great people who work here. I'm from NC and work with a contractor and I love coming to this mill for work. By far, my favorite!
This review comes 6 years late. In 2013 I was a process engineering intern assigned to the #1 Power Boiler project. Looking back 6 years later, no other job has come close in how cool this job was. I was given the opportunity to do valuable work and I was given excellent accommodations. Nearly every day I think of this place and how great I had it during my 4-month stay.nnFor all potential interns/co-ops: I highly recommend applying to this program, especially if you don't have the most competitive grades. This mill will blow your mind. It's an engineer's playground and they let you play on it as much as you want, so long as you stay safe and your work gets done.
For truckers: Follow 220 north all the way to Riverside st. Make a left turn and go down the street for about one mile. Pass gate 1, go over rail tracks then under the bridge and entrance will be on you right. Fast unload.
Great folks here. Was loaded quick and promptly.
