Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Food was not to bad. Wait staff pretty good and nice. The cook was really good and funny. Just a lot of money for a small amount of food. You do get a pile of rice..I will go back.nnSo I get a reply from Wasabi , and they tell me they have different portion sizes. We ordered off the menu with me having 2 beers the bill was $155.00. Hate to think if I would have gotten a bigger portion..

Very good sushi! Definitely worth going for their half priced sushi on Sunday’s. However, pretty slow service for both online and dine in orders. If you are not in a rush, I definitely recommend.

I placed a $93 to go order online this evening and when I got home it was incorrect. I called back and spoke with Kaitlyn (manager on duty). She was very nice and offered to remake it tonight (it was near closing and we live 20 mins away) or she would take my information down to comp the item that was incorrect. While eating dinner my husband found a whole artificial finger nail in his salad. He drove there to discuss with a manager and instead the owner comes out and his response was “how do I know you didn’t place it in the salad because I tell my girls to wear gloves” and he proceeds to tell my husband if he didn’t like it he could call and speak to his attorney. Might I add I’m the only one with nails in our home and my nails are currently hot pink. This is very disappointing as we go for dinner in that establishment at least twice a month spending a great deal there. I know accidents happen and if his response was any different we likely would have continued to support this business but he was nasty, rude and disrespectful and we will never give another dollar to Wasabi. Great food however service last night was absolutely awful. Arrived at 7:35 and told 20 min wait. At 8:00 party of 3 that came in after me and my friend were seated before us then at 8:05 another party of 2 was seated before us that also came in after us. My friend spoke up about this and we were told that they got the seating order messed up and we would be seated next. Around 8:20 we were offered seating at high top table at bar which we took. Was seated about 10 mins without waitress coming to take order. My friend got up and asked hostess if we could move over to other seating area because we had notice parties leave and we were not getting served. As she was asking it appeared some friends of one of the hostess had just came in and they decided to seat the friends in the back and we were told someone would be right with us which someone did come quickly to give us menu. The sushi was great as always but once again we had to get up to ask for our check. It appeared that a lot of the people working were distracted by friends who were coming in some to eat and some to just hangout. I really hope this changes as I will give them another try but if not changed I will not be coming back.
