Augusta Health Urgent Care

Had to go twice in a month before getting into see my new PCP. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind. They took very good care of me. Didn't have a very long wait either time, luckily.

You can get your labs and xrays done there which i find convenient. Its the lack of medical care you get that I rate poorly. The Dr. I saw spent 2 mins. with me then sent me to get 8 xrays. i never saw him again. The nurse brought me a splint and told me to see my pcp asap. I discovered rxs had been called in for me after i was home and read through all my paperwork. It also recommended seeing a Rheumatologist. Two days after completing a survey i got a voice from Dr also recommending i see an orthopedic surgeon. A bit late i think. I only go there to avoid the E.R..

First time I've ever been there. After reading some of the reviews, I was kinda expecting the worst. Was treated compassionately from receptionist, nurse, Cray tech and doctor. Professional yet friendly, made you feel soecial. Nurse even brought me a snack because I had to wait a long time. Five stars, great job everyone!☺

Went here because I thought I had strep and had just moved to the area. I paid my copay when checking in then I get a bill for over $200. I called to ask why. Any urgent care I’ve ever been to only charges the copay. Well- not here. For a 5 min visit this is what I pay because the AUGUSTA HEALTH HOSPITAL ownes the building so they charge you to use the facility! It will go towards your copay. I’ve called many times- no help....I would recommend for no one to use this place. They can only do simple X-ray and NO IV. Thanks small town welcome.

At times the waiting room is a bit crowded and people aren't polite, but the staff does a decent job.
