UVA Augusta Pediatrics

Since my son was born in 2002, all the doctors here have been wonderful and professional, including the nurses and staff! Dr. Gunther and Dr. Fisher have been his main physicians but others have seen him for sick visits. Highly recommend this office over any other pediatrician's office around!

I cannot speak highly enough of this practice! The entire staff has been extremely helpful as my family has grown. The lactation nurses are knowledgeable and kind. In addition, Dr. Pumphry is wonderful! She quickly picked up on my child's diagnoses and sent us to a specialist in Charlottesville for further evaluation. I could go on and on but will end with this: CHOOSE AUGUSTA PEDS - you won't regret it!

Treated HORRIBLY by Dr. BROOKS every time my baby has been to see her. Pays little to no attention to actual concerns I’ve had as a first time mother on any of our visits and was not only extremely rude but incredibly dismissive when answering my questions. When I tried explaining that the treatment she recommended wasn’t helping instead of listening she not only interrupted but also raised her voice. Such a wonderful way to treat patients! Will NEVER allow her anywhere near my child again! If you’re a new mom, especially one struggling with PPD I highly suggest you stay clear of her!

Appointment time is a joke. Consistently wait 45 to an hour after appointment times.
