Edelweiss German Restaurant

I haven't had German food in 40 years and I was not disappointed when I entered this Bavarian style guest house. We were greeted by Walter and regaled with stories and courteous service. My girlfriend accidentally left her purse and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty and returned it the very next day one day air. If you get a chance please visit this wonderful place and ask Walter to tell you about his time on the Mississippi River. If I could give it 12 stars out of 10 I would.

This place is in incredible! The staff is kind and attentive. The food was incredible, but it was so inexpensive. We ordered an appetizer, some wine, 2 meals, 2 beers, and 2 desserts. The portions are HUGE. We were literally expecting our bill to be twice the amount, but we we're pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend it!

LOVE this place!! A great friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. I drive over a hr to go (passing other German restaurants). Tonight my family & I went late (around 8, they close at 9) and was still greeted with friendly smiles. We didn't feel rushed at all. Our waitress was so sweet, her timing was perfect and never made us feel like we was a bother bc we arrived close to closing.. like how some restaurants do. Definitely recommend if you want authentic food & laid back feel ❤

Good experience, can tell its very traditional. Definitely and interesting place to stop and grab a quick bite. Food was good and I what I picture to represent what I could find in Germany.nnI'm docking a star because the restroom wasn't very clean and had a very strong oder.

Lovers of TRUE traditional foods and authentic environment experiences should LOVE Edelweiss. It is an amazing experience that should be savored. Food is flavorful and unique and the alcoholic selection compliments it well, especially the wines. Great for dates, anniversaries, and other celebrations. Highly recommend!!
