The River

There was a long line of people ahead of us and we did have a long wait due to such a small dining area. However, it was definitely worth the wait. Everything was amazing from the service (even while we were waiting for a table) to the food and beverages. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary. It has a great atmosphere and the staff is fantastic. Our food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

Limited variety on the menu but great food. Nice selection and beers on tap. We enjoyed our food and our server. We're traveling through so not likely to repeat but we would if the opportunity arose.

This place is so good! The food is always delicious. They have a good variety of appetizers and the burgers are creative. They have vegetarian options that are gourmet level! The beer menu is filled with local beers... Which is great for local support. The atmosphere is chill with a very nice decor. I love seeing that we have such great places that are up and coming in Waynesboro.

Overall it was a great experience here. Although we were slightly pressured to leave after finishing our food. The waynesburger is a quality choice and obviously it should be medium. Didn’t realize that fries were extra but they were tasty as well and worth it. My only complaint is that when people finish their meal and want to drink a couple of beers let them drink their beer instead of bringing a check. We were given the check twice because one waiter was closing out, we grabbed another beer, then the new waiter closed us out again without asking if we’re finished.

I had the Sundrop burger and got food poisoning; I have never had a sunny side up egg before so I don’t know if it was cooked right or not but I showed a picture of my burger to my mother and she said the egg looked undercooked. This place is however super friendly and a good place to stop if you are traveling through the area, I would consider going there again.
