Whenever my wife and I are looking for a break from reality, J.Anthony's is our go-to. When we go with friends, we sit at a table in the bar area and service has always been top-notch. When we go by ourselves, we like to sit at the bar, play Keno, and stuff our faces with some delicious Italian food. Last night is the first time we went since before COVID, and we just wanted a nice relaxing environment to celebrate our anniversary, and that is exactly what we got. I was pleasantly surprised by how the bar is set up with the high top tables up against the bar, giving you the feeling of being safe and comfortable knowing you are far enough away from other customers. The bartender was super attentive and sweet and made conversation with us as if we've known her forever. Really enjoyed our night out!

If I could give it no stars I would! Every year we TRY to give this restaurant ANOTHER chance and every year we FAIL. This is the worst place in Worcester county to go for food. After waiting 20 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us we got up to leave and she showed up. When we ordered we obviously wanted the appetizer BEFORE the meal. It all came out at the same time. The woman that brought the food out just looked at me and put all the food on the table. The food is overpriced and lacking of any taste. We have had the same problem every time we have tried this place. The rush you through your meal whether they are busy or slow. Needless to say they will NOT get another chance.

We had our Mercy meal there after the funeral of a family member. The meal was very good and our waitress/bartender Angela was professional, witty and provided excellent service! Angie has our extreme gratitude for making a very sad day much more tolerable!!

It is the best around but not quite gourmet. Not a big fan of gravy on the stuufed mushrooms. But servers were attentive, drinks were good. All in all a good place.

Had Amy as a waitress & she was amazing. Very quick with service & had a great personality. We will absolutely be back as long as she's our server. Laughter is medicine & she gave us a dose. We will need to refill our prescription soon.
