Had an amazing experience today at Charred Oak Tavern!!! Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and most friendly staff! Special Thank You to Lindsey who made us feel so comfortable and welcome! Went to Charred Oak Tavern with friends tonight and just like many other reviews had an exceptional experience. Our server Monica was spot on taking orders timely and accurately and providing superior service. Everyone’s food came out at the same time, good temperature and great presentation. Food was cooked perfectly and everyone enjoyed their meals-orange glazed scallops, chicken scampi, haddock tacos, and lobster rolls. Dessert was cheesecake and Irish cream pastry puffs. Drinks were perfect too!! Definitely a must-try and must return!!

Great place to eat, really good food and if you like whiskey or bourbon this is a good place for that. Hanging bacon was a nice treat for an appetizer and the steak I ordered was cooked perfectly. The waitress I had seemed a bit overwhelmed and maybe newer to the job. This is my 2nd time eating there and the food was just as good. Plenty to choose from on the menu with something for everyone even a gluten free portion. Don't shy away!

Great environment and excellent service. Candied bacon and whiskey are the notes of The Charred Oak Tavern...they crushed both. Extensive whiskey list with custom and established flights. Ordered the Apple and granola pork chop while my wife order the ribeye. Main course was excellent. Will definitely be returning. A great experience.

I had the kale soup to start and vegan pad thai with no onions. Both were delicious! My husband had oysters and bourbon salmon, both of which he really enjoyed. Oh, of course we started with the candied bacon. Is it even a trip up Charred Oak if you don't get the bacon? For beverages, we enjoyed a few flights (three 1 oz. pours) to sample different whisk(e)us, bourbons, etc. We also had the amaretto old-fashioned and the Charred Oak old-fashioned. Everything was delicious. And Steve provided excellent service. We'll definitely be back!
