This place is great-- sometimes a little under staffed at the checkout/in the aisles, but the quality of the staff is excellent. Friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and patient with dogs and dog owners that are still training on in-store manners.nnMy poor girl barked her head off the first day she went in when a bigger dog stormed in barking, and the cashier didn't even flinch. Held a cookie up in front of my dogs nose and got her to focus on something else so I could cash out.nnAsked him for some training tips and he gave them up from his personal experience and forked over some Petco training info.
Easy transaction. Clean place and my kids always love to see the live animals.
Grooming service awful, after setting the appointment and confirming at 9:30 am. I pulled up to the parking lot saw the employees walk in and getting ready. I called to let them know I was outside, but no one answered. I walked to the door and it was still locked. They just stared and didn't even think to ask anything. I waited for five minutes while dialing to the store and got no help from anyone. Pretty much waisted time and gas to try this place. Completely awful service.
Jen, the groomer, did an absolutely fantastic job with our Newfoundland. She's an older dog with special needs and all her quirks were accommodated above and beyond what we expected. She came back looking amazing, had clearly been treated very well, and the price was extremely reasonable - we've had much worse grooms for twice the price. Can't recommend Jen enough.
I have 3 pitbulls who just adore Jennifer (pet stylist). She's the best!!! My big boy doesn't let absolutely anyone including me clean his ears or cut his nails and he actually let's her without complaining. Jennifer is the BEST!!!
