The Old Saloon

Love this little place. I had an excellent made old-fashion with local bourbon and the forager’s pot pie was down right delicious. Around 5 o’clock the place gets lively with all the local gentleman getting off work. It was nice watching the bar keep interacting with his regular customers and how much they appreciate him. Even as a visitor I still felt welcomed and left with a full and happy belly.

Awesome little place, owner is down to earth, staff extremely friendly. You can tell if a place is good or not if they have regulars, which they do here. Came here two nights in a row after sight seeing. It might look like a hole in the wall from the outside, but you definitely step back in time when you go in. Very patriotic place as well, which again, this is Montana but it’s refreshing to see places like that if you come from the East Coast. Food was great and they have a local tap selection right from Montana breweries, local business supporting local business. The atmosphere inside was old west, with the Montana mountain backdrop as you looked out the windows was amazing, I kind of thought Garth Brooks might just walk in and grab a drink too. It’s a must stop place when passing through this little Montana town.

While visiting MT we came across this place. It was a great experience! The food was good and the staff attentive and helpful! I would gladly come again!!!

This place was awesome. The staff was the best part too, friendly and happy to help answer any questions or bring you something you need. The atmosphere on the restaurant side was classic saloon but updated. It felt more refined and cleaner. The food was simple, but tasty. If you are in the area or passing through, stop by for a drink or a meal. We will be back.

Stopped in for drinks and dinner here for the first time on Sunday 3-21-21.. Ordered one of my all time favorite drinks, crown apple and cranberry juice. Mmmmm what a delicious drink, the perfect amount of alcohol and juice for this combination was on que just the way I like it. Ordered the fried pickles and I will say by far some of the best I've had in a long time. I think our bartenders name was Connor and I will say he was absolutely great, took very good care of us. We ordered the ribeye and sirloin with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Everything about dinner was delicious and did not disappoint. I would definitely come back to the Old Saloon especially for drinks and those fried pickles lolnAll around a good experience for trying a new place to eat and get drinks
