I have been to this wonderful place 5 times over the last 40 years. Some of the visits were for happy times and some were during terribly sad times. My family has signed,written and hammered quarters on a piece of the wood every time. The beer is always COLD. The service has always been EXCELLENT. The decorations are outstanding. When I found it up for sale I wish I had the means to own it, it's a real diamond. Stop in for any occasion I think you will love it too !

Funky, down to earth place! Wonderful atmosphere and the small hard working staff are charming. Great menu and great food! Lots of different beers on tap, my favorite being Moose Drool, a very dark robust ale! A great family destination!

This is a cool little place with a lot of character. The food was awesome. The Indian Fry Bread Taco was really just right and the seafood platter’s batter crust had the nicest texture, cooked to perfection. Good beer selection and good service. Now the bad part... They don’t accept credit cards. I imagine that that’s to avoid the expense for the fees and such, I don’t know. Being in such a small town, and sorta old fashioned maybe I could understand. But... They’re “new fashioned” enough to have an ATM that they charge a 3.50 fee so you can get some money out to pay them with, and they have an internet based juke box that takes your money through Apple Pay. So... They are too frugal to pay electronic fees but don’t mind making you pay them. Bad form.

They have sheep drive in September. I was lucky enough to catch and while I didn't frequent the bar they were quite involved in all the activities which was great to see.
