Granite Ghost Town

Pretty cool place to drive up to. Road is long and dirt with lots of bumps and washboard areas but its possible w2 wheel drive. Take it slow. There's an old mining tram before you get to the town, worth a stop and look at.nUp at the old town, there's some buildings still standing, walk around and check them out.nI didnt go all the way up to the old mine works but it's in plain site further up the mountainside, stayed mostly walking around the old stores, houses, bank and Miners Union Hall. There are some good clear walking paths you can follow.
