Petco

The help from an associate was needed, I could not find something. So the store was fantastic. Unfortunately the product I bought was not so great. My dog won't touch any food that has the fish oil on it. A very expensive mistake. That is not the stores fault. Great overall experience.

Standard Petco store. I enjoyed the layout of the fish tanks in the center of the store in a circular wall format. I was also surprised that they carry Salt Water fish such as clown fish. Some areas of the store were cluttered or uncleaned. A quick tidying by dedicated employees could really make the store look professional.

Layton Petco has one of the best selections of any Petco I've been in, and thats saying A LOT! What they lack in staffing they make up for in service, knowledge and care for you animals and animal needs. Their grooming salon is top notch with groomers that truly care for your pets, be warned, if you are negligent in your pets hygiene habits they will do what they need to do so that your pet is healthy, happy and most importantly COMFORTABLE. Don't make the mistake in thinking that you can get away with not brushing your dog and saying that you do it once a week and then get upset that the length is not what you wanted, TRUST ME!nnIf I could give this establishment 10 ud83cudf1f I totally would.nnHave patience and compassion and your experience will be nothing but excellent!

Had a great experience here with Miguel. I'm more into to fish myself then the other kinds of pets that you can have. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but the stock of Aquatic Life that he keeps is far different than the majority of other Petco's. At least for freshwater and plants that is. The saltwater fish look great, there just isn't a large selection here. For that I would probably go to the Ogden Petco. But as far as freshwater goes. This is the place you want to go. Especially for things like shrimp. Or just any other invertebrates.nnIt's located to the north of the Sonic. It's kind of tucked away a little bit. But you should be able to see the sign or the building from the road. ud83dudc4d

They mark up the prices a lot! Chewy.com is more affordable if you're willing to wait for shipping.
