Sambi Canton Restaurant

I enjoyed the broccoli beef which is available in different levels of spiciness. Nice portion and tender beef served piping hot. Comes with streamed rice and a fortune cookie. I would go back there and try other things. Nice people and great service.

I hate giving any restaurant a bad review especially these times with the virus. Everyone needs to work but...nUnfortunately the service was quite poor, we felt like we were inconveniencing the waitress.nWe had to get our own additional eating utensils.nI got sick from the shrimp.nTwo thirds of one of our orders was all chestnuts as a filler.nThis is why the poor rating.

Not sure what has happened to Sambi Canton but it's just not good anymore. The chicken tastes likes it's been reheated numerous times and the Thai Drunken noodle was a plate of noodles in some sort of brown sauce. Not what they used to serve and no hint of a delicate Thai flavor. The silverware was in a bowl that you had to dig around to find a spoon - not at all appropriate during a pandemic!

Food is simply ok. Good enough to feel like comfort food. Pad Thai is pretty good, savory, noodles had good consistency and good combination of flavor. Mongolian beef was somewhat bland and unremarkable. Good music, friendly service, simple decoir.

Ordered a bunch of apps, sushi, and drinks. All were amazing! Our server, I didn’t catch her name but she was from Jamaica, was excellent. Warm, inviting and personable. I loved my experience here!!
