Sunpie's Bistro

I love this bar but don’t really care for the food. The bar space is awesome! Bartenders are really fun, prices are great, and the outside patio is beautiful. That being said every time we eat here I am not much of a fan. Come for the fun time, hospitality, drink prices and views! Love this bar!

Your door person was completely rude to our group. We had a group of 5 people who were looking forward to enjoying the great things we had heard about the place. We were simply denied entry while groups behind us were walked right in. We felt locals were allowed in but out of towners were not. This is just an assessment because this door person wouldn’t give us an actual reason for our denial while a couple of your other employees were confused why we weren’t let in. We are all in the industry and this blew every one of us away. Good luck with this person running your entry point. I’m sure we aren’t the first group to voice our opinions of this person.

Incredibly disappointed with this place. Haven’t been to steamboat in a decade, and a group of high school friends and I, who visited steamboat in our younger years, decided to make a late season trip out. Unfortunately when we got there the door guy decided that five guys shouldn’t be allowed in. We stopped by early in the night and the door guy turned us away. The door man claimed there were covid capacity issues, but we watched half a dozen people walk in after we were turned away. Came back 90 minutes later and watched the same situation play out. Outside of being incredibly rude, it was bad business. All five in our group are well off, and good tippers. This place is trash. Wish I could leave less than one star. I think well copper mountain next time.

We stopped by Sunpies after our wedding and it was such a great experience! Lovely view of the river, warm and friendly people and staff made us feel at home. Thank you so much for making our day a little more special!

Quite the dive bar. Love it.
