This place is run very poorly. There is never anyone at the counter. There is never anyone to answer the phone. To ask about services or cancel/setup an appointment. Several times we have showed up for a appointment 10 minutes early and cannot check in. But that doesn't matter anyway because a 8:45 appointment means 9:15 or later.

I was a patient at Mindsprings over the summer. During my stay, I developed gastroenteritis. When I tried to communicate to staff that I needed medical treatment, I was ignored for approximately 24 hours. Because of their mistreatment, I had to spend three days in the hospital, I was unable to eat solid food for ten days, and I had to be on antibiotics for six weeks.nAfter this ordeal was over, I went to the patient advocate, Jenni Stansberry. She listened attentively to every detail of how I was treated while in the care of Mindsprings/West Springs Hospital. She told me that she was filing a grievance for me, and that I would hear back from the hospital within two weeks. I never heard anything, and when I tried calling her to find out why I hadn’t heard anything, she ignored my calls, and never returned my messages.nI realize that for most people, there is no other option. However, if you have the option of driving a few hours away, I would highly recommend that you not go to Mindsprings/Westsprings.
