I own a Congo African Grey named Clarke. Clarke's 21 yrs old next month. For a couple of years now, he's been plucking feathers around his neck area. We've seen 3 avian vets and finally have some help! The 1st vet said he's fine, 2nd vet said it's only cosmetic so stop worrying... the 3rd said let's try placing him on a vitamin/mineral therapy and UVA/UVB light!nThis vet (in Cypress, TX) recommended Feather Fast by Morning Bird specifically. I was told to follow directions on the jar, but when that proved a bit confusing, I called Morning Bird directly. A very engaging gentleman named Steven (I apologize if I've misspelled his name) answered my questions and was very helpful when I inquired about other products!
