Good food, service and prices. A diamond in the rough on the long road through the island. Nice beers on tap. Crab cake Benedict really hit the spot. Friendly, attentive servers.

My husband and I ordered takeout from them. I got the sirloin tips and he got a burger. When I ordered it online it said that my order would be ready by 5:59 (20-25 minutes, and I placed the order at 5:39pm), which is exactly what time I got there. I live approximately 9 minutes from the restaurant. By the time I got home, my food was cold, as if it had been sitting at the restaurant for a while. Luckily, I was able to put my steak in the oven when I got home (which it needed because it was medium rare, not the medium that I ordered!). My husband's burger was so pink inside that I wanted to puke watching him eat it (he ordered his medium, as well, and it was obviously medium rare). If we would have been eating in the restaurant, I would have sent our food back. It's a shame. I imagine that their food would have been pretty good, and I'm sure that I would have eaten there again, but not after this experience!

Lunch today at Fieldstones, food was excellent but service was better. In these tough times with Covid our server was attentive and super friendly. Made you feel so welcome. I'm not in Portsmouth often but will def be back.
