Portsmouth Publick House

Stopped by for a lunch with my daughter. Very pleasant and responsive service. Really great food. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Excellent as always. If you're a local and haven't been here yet, I suggest you add it to your to do list. If you're vacationing in the Newport area be sure to add this to your places to visit list , you won't regret it!!

Food was great atmosphere is very nice but waitress could have been better never came back to ask for refills nor did she ever ask for Coffee or desert the deserts looked very good all she did is lay down the bill and took plates and not a word very disappointed.

I do not recommend this place in anyway. The service was awful. Waited at the table for a minimum of 25 minutes before someone even came over to us, and that was only after we had to go inside to find someone to tell them we haven’t been helped. Placed our order and waited an additional hour for mediocre food to come out. We were given constant excuses from the wait staff as to what was taking so long. To top of all off when it came time to pay the bill they took our credit card and then lost it for another 30 minutes. After all of that only 2 drinks were comped from the bill. We will never be coming back to this place.

I had the sesame-crusted Ahi dinner it was fantastic
