I had surgery on my foot and ankle. The nurses and staff are amazing, very personable and professional. They were very thorough with getting my history and making sure I had no questions or worries before the surgery. It was just a same day surgery but they made sure I was comfortable and had the knowledge to go home safely. I have used this hospital pretty much since it was built and can only think of one instance where I was not happy about how I was treated. I would and do recommend this hospital to everyone.

Everything thing went very well. The check in was smooth, the lady that did this you could tell she loved her job. Very personable. The room nurses were great. they made me feel very comfortable. the preop nurse were very nice as well. During recovery I was taken care of very well. Upon returning to my room. It was going well. I asked if I could go to the restroom and then the nurse all but rushed me out the door. she had me in the wheelchair off to the restroom and dressed thus wheeling me out to the car. I did not feel ready awake enough to leave at this point but did so any way. Maybe don't rush to get the patient out the door so soon.

Update: now got sent to collections so fast to get sent there but waited a year to get full info about my service great! Update: One year later I’m BARLEY JUST AS TODAY getting billing info I asked for. Absolutely joke. The staff there treated my chronic illness like a complete joke and did not do anything to help my situation. They had me waiting on the table with agonizing pain not even giving me at least an ibuprofen. We were there for about another hour. The only person at that time who is kind was the person who took my x-ray. And reassured me that everything would be OK. On my second visit The doctors and staff were more pleasant but did not listen when I requested the IV being put in my hand. Instead they tried at least four times on each arm to get my IV there. I was already in severe pain and it just made it all worse. I know you guys are trained professionals but please listen sometimes it really helps and will save you guys time. My arms are both completely swollen and I had trouble working the next day. It’s very disheartening to have people in your every day life not understand your illness, but even more humiliating when it is at a hospital. People there should have better training of the topic and should be treating people with chronic illness with a little more respect because we cannot control what we have. The overwhelming bill for laying in pain was just the cherry on top of it. 🍒 🍨
