I would give a 5/5 but I am actually upset and annoyed.nnAbout 3 weeks ago came in as I only drive 40 minutes to an hour to get here as it was my favorite and reliable fish needs store. Yes passing tons of pet stores to get here, none the less I’mnNot sure I will be a “frequent flyer” here anymore. On my endeavor 3 weeks ago into the store I bought some new plants, a glass top, a $55 light for the fish and plants, and other stuff about $155 worth of fish goods. I returned today as my tank got acidic and asked questions and inquired to the one employee who knows her plants well. She informed me the light I purchased from “employee who recommended it would suit my fish and grow my plants” that it will in fact NOT grow my plants but more than likely “burn” them up. Can’t return the light apparently? Even though he said this would work talked to him today he said “oh no” and kinda did a sad shoulder slump.. that was it from him. Then to which I replied okay well can you guys do anything on this second light I will now have to purchase just to insure my plants will grow and have no room to open my tank without taking a light off? “We can price match” well I skipped on the light as cheapest I saw was $65 and bought some plant substrate. Tried to price match Amazon since it was cheaper but it can’t be prime (which I don’t have) but the price match is calculated with shipping meaning the price of item plus shipping has to be less than in store.. that’s not how price matches are done. I would rather support local than Amazon and get prime and order from online fish breeders but this experience has me just wondering if the drive to local is worth it now, will information down the road be incorrect?nStaff 7/10nKnowledge 9/10 (depending on who you talked to)nItems 10/10nHappy to come back 4/10

I've been coming here for years. The place has really grown. One of the few markets that COVID actually boosted. Fair prices and decent selection. I'd like to know where they get their Betta. Prices are very high compared to local market. And there's only a few commercial sellers. Great selection of supplies and accessories as well as tanks and complete set ups. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the hobby and haven't been here yet.

The moment we walked in, it felt murky and humid inside. Not a very clean place, the smell was fine and to be expected with mostly fish tanks throughout. While you can find a lot here you can’t find anywhere else, I wouldn’t recommend it. Some of the staff were attentive, more so the male than the female worker. On her phone rather than cleaning which that place really needs. The betta selection was very depressing to look at. Algae in their cups and barely moving. Dead bugs like flies were also in the cups. (Dumbo Male cup for example if a worker is reading this.) I feel this place is best for saltwater tanks and very large fish tanks, the freshwater not so much. The prices were very high, but as I said there’s a lot there you can’t find anywhere else.

Had just gone in to look around and get some feeder mice, came out with a new tank for my ball python which was much needed. The staff are very attentive and will help you with what you need along with explaining the pros and cons of the products you're looking at. They didn't seel me things based on what was best for money, they sold me what is best for my pet. A overall really cool place.

This place was amazing! Great selection/variety of fish, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, and the tanks were clean and well maintained. I will not be buying aquarium supplies from anywhere else.
