Fireproof Restaurant

My friend recommended this place to us and we made reservations for Saturday night. The beginning of our experience was a disaster. Our server was disorganized. We didn’t get our drinks or apps for 45 minutes. The experience was looking pretty bad. However, the manager Jacob completely turned the night around. After hearing it had been 45 minutes without even drinks he comped the entire meal! And within minutes all our food arrived. The food was so good and the drinks were also excellent. They also brought out lemon drops on the house with the sparkler! Such a surprise! What started as a disappointing evening turned out to be quite memorable. I think we will give Fireproof another try since the food was so good, and in the end the customer service was top notch.

Great atmosphere, music, drinks, and food. Would be five stars but our server had an attitude from the start and some of the dishes could have been a little larger. The menu was very diverse and unique. The Waygu Strip Steak might be the best steak I’ve ever eaten. We will be back. It’s a great place for a special occasion or business dinner.

Outstanding service, I hosted my sisters birthday party here last weekend. The table was set very nicely when we arrived plus the food and drinks were amazing. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice night out

We've passed Penumbra countless times and were always confused why it seemed empty but had numerous glowing reviews. Turns out the front is the bar/cocktail area and the restaurant is a large, dimly lit space in the back. There are tables of various sizes with sheaths of fabric dividing them. There are some more intimate tables lining the walls.

Giving 2 stars because our server was nice. We sat down for about 20 minutes before being greeted when our friends had been waiting for 15 minutes already. Our drinks came at 40 minutes and my food was made incorrectly and arrived an hour after being seated. Very disappointed for such premium pricing. We were a party of 9 and not a single one of us left feeling like we received our money’s worth. :(
