Jackie O's Public House Restaurant

Easily one of the best breweries I’ve been to probably ever. The food is amazing and the beer is spectacular! Also, get Paige as a server/bartender because she’s awesome as well. Definitely a place you should check out and well worth the drive.

They are very safe but this means your food and drinks and basically everything is placed on a table a few feet away from your table so you stand up to serve yourself every time something is brought to the table. I do understand the reasoning but we had to stand up to get our own stuff 6-7 times. Food was okay. Nothing great. Was overcharged but they fixed it quickly. Not very attentive service. For being limited seating they weren’t very on top of things. Had an empty beer glass for quite a while while the servers were all talking etc and first drink came a very long time after ordering, too. The people were kind but there wasn’t enough for me to say I would go back. Their stouts are above average. IPA’s are just okay.

We went here for Valentine's Day this year and it was not a great experience. We were seated next to the take-out window, which was cold when opened continually. The area that we were seated in looked like a storage area with a mess behind the counter. The falafel pita was very dry and not great. My husband and I are pretty easy going with life, but he was so disappointed that this was our Valentine's Day meal together. We drove from Stockport at a cabin we rented and it was not worth the drive. The waitress was not very attentive as well and did not come to check on us until half way through our meal. We needed some extra sauce to make the pita a little less dry, but had to sit there and wait until she finally came back. On the upside, the beer selection and the fried pickles were delicious. I don't often write bad reviews, but this was not the experience we were anticipating.

Went to this resturant after many recommendations and don't understand the hype. Dinner for 4 people took over 1.5 hrs which when we arrived we were told that was the alloted time. The food was fine, but the service was poor the covid precautions were interesting but it left us feeling very underwhelmed.

The Greek salad was outstanding and very satisfying, on the other hand the Veggie pizza was just good
