Petco

Sadly had a horrible experience after many positive experiences at the Larchmont Petco. A few issues.n1. Had a grooming appointment at 9am yesterday - store was not open at 9am. They opened the store at 9:07am. Generally not a big deal but I had a work call at that time.n2. THREE STAFF MEMBERS WERE NOT WEARING MASKS AT ALL DURING BUSINESS HOURS. None at all. Not in their hand. Not below their chin. Just no masks during a pandemic while I was in the store. Oh, and their GM is apparently in quarantine after I called the store to try and speak with him.n3. No groomer showed up. My grooming appointment was at 9am, I waited around for 20 minutes and still no groomer. This typically doesn’t happen but after they opened the store late and wore no masks, I had enough. The guy there didn’t make an attempt to call the groomer - only suggested maybe I cancel the appointment. Did not ask if I wanted to reschedule. No follow up the day of or the day after. Nothing.nHorrid customer service on Friday, 1/23 in the opening hours. Horrid.

First time here. I came in. I came for a collar and costume for my cat. The shelves were mostly empty. To be fair, there was a delivery truck out front. There were not many items for cats in the store. Dog collars and leashes. I did not make a purchase as they did not have what I came for. If you own a cat, I recommend another Petco or order online.

Good variety of products. Have the doggie bags in case of an accident from my pet on the floor. Unfortunately the item I was looking for was not available at the store. I'm told company is moving between warehouses which caused a delay in the supply chain. Not Petco's fault.

The young lady who help me was helpful and friendly. Will have no problem returning.

5 stars and beyond! Paula has given me very critical help in picking up the right items for my new puppy. It was exciting yet stressful to bring a new puppy home. But my puppy loves every thing that Paula recommended. Additionally Paula has given me ideas about training. She is an expert that her advice worked so well. Thank you so much!!!
