One of my favorite spots in Sleepy Hollow, excellent after a day of hiking on the OCA or in Rockefeller Preserve. The staff is friendly and the service, as well as the food, is great. I can't recommend it highly enough

Visited here for the first time on Sunday, after reading Google Reviews (as we were driving through Sleepy Hollow), and I am so glad we did.nnWe were a party of 3, and because it was the middle of the day, we wanted a table in the shade where we would be comfortable and not in direct sunlight. We were immediately accommodated by one of the staff members, who also ended up being our server, and the experience was already great.nnOur server (her name is BRIDIE, and what an awesome name that is) was absolutely amazing!! Super friendly, funny and personable, and a true example of how someone working in a service business should be. She answered our questions about several menu items and made her suggestions. The food came and everything was great.nnBurger - oversized, juicy, and flavorful.nFries - crispy, light, and perfectly crunchy.nReuben Sandwich - tasty, nicely sized, and oh so good!nRoast Beef Sandwich - large portion, very flavorful, and great bread!nnThey have a great outdoor seating area (more like a beer garden environment), and we watched as they sanitized between patrons leaving and arriving at tables. Great Halloween decor (and in Sleepy Hollow it would have to be), and the prices are great!nnAn overall excellent experience and one that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a casual, relaxed, and nice bar/pub atmosphere.nn5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!

I had an amazing experience in this place. We liked the extraordinary environment and the food. The staff are super friendly. I’m glad we ultimately managed to visit here.

UPDATE: Ignore the reply from the owner of this establishment. It's all talk. They never refunded our payment and didn't reply to the email I sent asking to please retain the tip we left. They just wanted to leave a positive reply to this review in the hopes that potential guests would believe our experience was a one off or an unusual day. I'm betting it wasn't.nnOriginal Review: Can't even begin to describe how bad the food is here. Let's just say it was very bad. To the staff of JP Doyle's: please, for the love of God, change your fry oil.

I liked the food, I liked the prices. They have a nice outdoor space (beer garden), so it’s a good restaurant/bar to visit during Covid. Also, the service was really good.nBtw, I love the Pink Whitney shot & High Moon combo ud83dudc4c
