The Grist Mill Restaurant

The Grist Mill is always a place we visit when in the Lake George area. Food, waitstaff, chef and atmosphere are all absolutely outstanding. Everyone and everything is outstanding because they know of no other way to run a restaurant business. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. You will not be disappointed!!!

The Grist Mill couldn’t have met our expectations any better. Our waitress Beth was fantastic. The strip steak was terrific! Definitely coming back next summer!

Been here numerous times but today was very disappointing. We walked up to host stand and stood there while 3 employees stood and talked among themselves. They didn't greet us or look at us. We finally said hello and one girl looked at us and said, we're waiting for tables. Very rude. We left.

Another little known dinning experience only 9 minutes from Lake George is the Grist Mill. Our waitress Joyce was fun & attentive. Our bacon wrapped shrimp & stacked eggplant parm were outstanding. The view of the river topped off a perfect meal. And no crowds!

We were 8 minutes late for our reservation and they said the kitchen was totally out of food. You think they'd mention when they took the reservation that it was close to closing time, or take a phone number and check in with you. Basically anything besides pretending they no longer had food.
